He has practised ophthalmology for more than 25 years. He trained at University Hospital Centre Zagreb and Dubrava University Hospital and furthered his training at clinics in Madrid, Munich and Barcelona. He is head of the Department of Ophthalmology at Dubrava University Hospital and a university professor, and in 2006 he opened the clinic in Karlovac.

He is one of the leading neurologists in the region. From 1995 he headed the Neurology Department of Dubrava University Hospital, and at Poliklinika Pavan he runs the consultative neurology clinic.

Anita Cindrić, RN
Coordinator
A nurse with more than 20 years of experience and a member of the team since the clinic’s very beginnings. She trained in Karlovac and completed her internship at Karlovac General Hospital. Today she supports the doctors in their daily work and coordinates the clinic’s medical, organisational and administrative tasks – so that every patient feels safe and welcome.

Petra Doknjaš, nurse
Scrub nurse · Vitamin infusions
She gained her experience in ophthalmology as an ophthalmic scrub nurse at Dubrava University Hospital and has been part of our team since 2025. She prepares patients, the operating theatre and instruments, and assists during eye procedures. Alongside her work, she is studying nursing at the University of Zagreb.

Sanela Laić, RN
Clinic and optician
A nurse with many years of experience working with patients in general practice. She has been part of our team since 2022, working in the clinic and the optician’s, and has combined her medical knowledge with the field of vision and ophthalmology. She approaches patients calmly, responsibly and with great understanding.

Sanda Trputec
Beautician
She gained more than 20 years of experience in aesthetics and skin care at renowned Zagreb clinics and salons. She trained as a physiotherapist, then perfected her knowledge in aesthetic care and modern cosmetic treatments and passed the master craftsman’s exam. She approaches every treatment professionally and precisely, tailored to each client’s skin.

Marijan Pablo Pavan

The third generation
The family tradition begun in 1966 by his grandfather, Marijan Pavan, MD, and continued by his father, Prof. Josip Pavan, is today being carried on by the third generation.
